Wario Apparition EP, (as well as being based on the 'every copy of Super Mario 64 is personalised' meme), is based on a myth about Super Mario 64 that permitted the playground when I was around 8 years old.

The myth went that after obtaining every star you would unlock two player mode with Luigi (L is Real 2401) which in turn would unlock an additional 8th level in every world, as well as a new world with it's own 8 levels (Starbright Castle), which could be accessed through the star painting on the upper floors of the castle.

After obtaining those 16 stars, you would unlock one more level. It was a white beached island in the eye of a storm. Dark purple clouds covered the sky, and in the semi-darkness, the glowing phantom of the Koopa King flew about the place (Ghost Bowser). You would need to work together with Luigi to kill bowser one final time, which would release the curse on the island and turn it into Bob-Omb Beach. This place was a paradise. Koopa shells lined the beach which would allow you to surf around the waves, cannons were set up to be shot through cool rock formations, and there was just lots to mess around with... apparently.

After you had messed around a bit and exited the level, THE TRUE AND HONEST END CUTSCENE WOULD PLAY!!! King and Queen Peach would thank you for saving their daughter and that's it... Kid's imaginations, huh?
